I had the honor of capturing Anna and Jackson’s classic + romantic Birmingham wedding at Park Crest Event Facility. Their stunning wedding was perfect from beginning to end! Anna is one of the most detail oriented brides I’ve had the pleasure of working with! I was so impressed by her attention to each detail and her amazing talent! Anna made the invitations herself! She did not just design them, but literally designed, made, and assembled them completely herself! I was floored when I saw how gorgeous they were!

She also had an envelope addressed to Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl! I was SOOO excited when I saw this, as I also love Gossip Girl! A few of my other favorite details from their magical wedding day included personalized napkins, a stunning white floral chandelier hanging from the ceiling at their reception, and their wedding cake with a dog figurine on the back side representing their adorable pup, Rosie, who also made an appearance at the wedding!

Classic + Romantic Birmingham Wedding

Anna readied at her and Jackson’s home, which was filled with lots of natural light. Her and her bridesmaids celebrated with champagne and confetti outside before changing into their wedding attire. Anna was a positively stunning bride in her off shoulder wedding dress.

Jackson clearly agreed as he was blown away upon seeing Anna for the first time during their first look. Park Crest Event Facility has the most picturesque garden grounds. It was the most romantic little spot with gorgeous flowers and greenery! This dreamy, natural setting was perfect for capturing their first look. The beautiful scenery continued as we explored the gardens and captured more wedding portraits.

Their dog, Rosie, had a lovely floral wreath she wore for a few portraits with her favorite humans. She was such a good dog and sat perfectly for all the photos and at the altar during the ceremony!

Romantic Park Crest Wedding

Anna and Jackson’s stunning outdoor wedding ceremony took place in the Park Crest Gardens with a lovely view of Shades Mountain! Anna and Jackson wrote their own vows, and they were some of the sweetest, most heartfelt vows I’ve ever heard! It doesn’t surprise me that their vows were so well written, as they are both attorneys. The couple exchanged vows and were announced as husband and wife just as the sun was starting to set behind the trees, providing a romantic glow.

After their beautiful ceremony, everyone moved to the lower level of the Carriage House for their reception! Their reception was an absolute BLAST. The DJ had the guests on the dance floor all night long! I loved the light up sign of their last name and all the classic and romantic floral details that adorned each table. Everything was stunning and so well planned!

It was such an honor to capture their incredibly gorgeous, fun day. More than that though, it was a pleasure to get to know Anna and Jackson, as they are two of the kindest, most thoughtful people I’ve ever met. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to celebrate them and now call them friends!!
