Mallory and Nathan’s Swann Lake Stables Wedding in Birmingham Alabama was a stunning event, filled with an overflow of love and joy. Swan Lake Stables is a gorgeous wedding venue! It sits on acres of rolling green meadows, near an enchanting river, and with a beautiful stone patio where Mallory and Nathan had wonderful pictures taken and celebrated their big day with their friends and family.

Their wedding day was the most gorgeous fall day! The sun was shining wonderfully giving us lovely, glowing light for their photos! Nathan and Mallory had their first look down by the edge of the river on the venue’s property, where they have a stone platform built into the river! The natural beauty surrounding the venue provided endless photo opportunities! We had a great time exploring the grounds while I photographed them!

Mallory and Nathan included a few special details in their big day! Mallory and Nathan’s dog, Rusty, played a prominent role, and I LOVE that they included him. Having him there made everything feel more personal and special for them! Rusty walked down the aisle and appeared in many wedding photos with his happy humans. He was adorable and photogenic!

Nathan, who is a police officer, had Mallory’s wedding ring in a box with handcuffs on it. He said he had been keeping the ring under lock and key, as he wanted to surprise Mallory who hadn’t seen the ring yet. She saw it for the first time when they said “I do” and Nathan put the ring on her finger as they were pronounced husband and wife. It was such a heartfelt and special moment. A moment I am sure they both will always cherish!

The entire day was amazing and filled with so many fun and happy moments. It was a joy and an honor to photograph their fall wedding day and capture their memories. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your big day!
