Jordan and Trent’s romantic wedding day overflowed with joy and laughter. It wasn’t just the bride and groom brimming with excitement, but everyone there to celebrate seemed to be bursting with love and joy for them as they finally said “I do!”. Their Mathews Manor Wedding in Springville, AL took place on a beautiful fall day in October at Mathews Manor’s elegant new venue, Micah’s Meadow! This enchanting venue features a fairytale bridge, a beautiful natural landscape perfect for wedding portraits, and a stunning indoor event space with a stone fireplace, and vaulted ceilings complete with beautiful chandeliers.
The couple got ready onsite in their respective suites. The bride and her bridesmaids had fun in their matching robes sharing a glass of bubbly to celebrate! After enjoying a glass of champagne the bridesmaids put on their beautiful dresses in romantic shades of rose and blush pink. Jordan put her wedding dress on separately and surprised her bridesmaids with a first look. Their reactions were priceless! Jordan’s dad had a similar reaction upon seeing her during their first look, as he was clearly taken back by his beautiful daughter! As Trent got ready, he exchanged gifts with his mom, which was one of my favorite moments! Trent’s mom had part of his baby blanket sewed into a patch on the handkerchief for him. It was an incredibly sweet and thoughtful gift!
Throughout the morning leading up to the ceremony, Trent was emotional as he thought about marrying Jordan. Seeing his emotions build up to the moment before the ceremony was one of the sweetest things I’ve witnessed. He was so genuinely happy. Jordan and Trent decided not to do a first look as they wanted their first time seeing each other to be as she was walking down the aisle. This moment did not disappoint!
Trent was so in awe of Jordan when he saw her coming down the aisle. He was overcome with joy, love, and admiration. They exchanged vows in front of the stunning stone fireplace decorated with white flower bouquets.
As the newlyweds were exiting the ceremony Trent dipped Jordan for an epic kiss! It was the perfect moment! After exiting the ceremony we explored the beautiful grounds of Mathews Manor as I captured their wedding portraits, which were STUNNING! You can feel their love in the photos! I felt like I was a casual bystander that just happened to be capturing their excitement and joy of finally being married as it unfolded.
Jordan and Trent, it was such a joy and honor to capture your gorgeous wedding day at Mathews Manor! I have loved getting to know you and watching your story unfold. Cheers to you both!
