I just love getting to work with families over and over again. It’s one of my very favorite parts of being a photographer! It brings me such joy to see families grow over the years and get to celebrate milestones with them! The Youngblood Family is one of these families that is so special to my heart. I’ve gotten to document many moments for them over the years, and it’s always fun when we get together! Their recent light and airy summer family session was no different! I had the best time capturing this sweet family of four!
Light and Airy Summer Family Session
We met in a beautiful outdoor park setting in Birmingham, Alabama that was filled with tons of greenery, tall grass, and a lovely pond. The beautiful sunlight streaming in through the trees and on the horizon of the grassy fields created the perfect lighting for their session. I am in love with their light and airy portraits. The Youngblood family also did a fantastic job coordinating their outfits! The light neutrals and muted tones of their outfits complemented each other and the scenery perfectly!
Their two little boys are absolutely adorable! Parker has grown SO much since I last saw him! He is also an amazing big brother to Grayson, who is the most chill little guy! He is equally as cute and adorable as his big bro! One of my favorite parts of capturing family sessions is photographing the siblings together! I love seeing their bond and personalities interact in front of the camera! Seeing these brothers together and watching Parker hold Grayson was so sweet! I love seeing kids play and just be kids! Parker had fun running around the fields and making silly faces, but he also did a great job giving me the biggest smiles when I asked!
The boys’ parents, Ben and Samantha are just so sweet! They are wonderful parents and it shows! Fun fact: Ben and Samantha are high school sweethearts and started dating exactly 14 days before David and I! We’ve all known each other since high school, so it’s been so fun to watch each other’s relationships grow over the years! I am so thankful we’ve stayed connected and they have trusted me to document these moments for their family!
