I am so excited to share this super sweet Birmingham In-Home Newborn + Family Session of baby Hayes and his lovely family! Documenting this new family of four was a dream! I loved being able to capture Hayes’ adorable nursery, which was so thoughtfully and beautifully put together. Comforting and calming hues of blue adorned his room making it feel cozy and welcoming. I particularly loved the sign of his name above the crib!
Birmingham In-Home Newborn + Family Session
When we weren’t in his beautiful nursery, the family was cuddled up on a bed together. Hayes prefers to be held and snuggled while he sleeps (who wouldn’t), so we were thrilled that we were able to capture a few of him asleep all by himself! There really is nothing better than a sleeping baby with their dreamy smiles and adorable facial expressions!
Before Hayes fell asleep I captured Hayes with his older brother, Miller. Watching Miller hold and love on baby Hayes was so heartwarming! He is great with his little brother and is already a pro in his new role as big brother! He was beaming as he held him, and I just loved capturing the sweetness between these brothers. I can already tell they are going to be best friends!

There are so many benefits to an in-home lifestyle session. Welcoming a new baby to your home, whether it is your first or your fourth, comes with its own set of challenges. Offering in-home sessions takes the stress off parents and allows them to just enjoy their baby and these tender moments as a family while I snap away! No need to worry about packing up your house, as everything you need is within reach. Being a mom myself, I know how much energy a simple outing takes with a newborn, which is why I want to take away the stress from my clients and allow them to relax during their pictures! I love capturing families in their home, where they are most comfortable.
