Birmingham Fall Family Session

I always love getting to spend time with the Youngblood family. They are one of those families I look forward to seeing each year, as I normally photograph them at least once. It is such an honor to not only be trusted to capture their precious family memories, but also have a front row seat to watch their family grow. The boys, Parker and Grayson, have grown so much in such a short amount of time. When kids are young, as all parents know, they change drastically in the early years. Family portraits become even more important to document each stage and season of life, which is why I was thrilled to capture the Youngblood’s Birmingham Fall Family Session.

This year, I had the joy of capturing this beautiful family twice! I captured them over the summer and it is mind blowing how much the boys have changed in just a few months! When I captured their summer session, little Grayson was sitting up on his own, but now he is learning how to walk with the help of mom, dad, and big brother. He is also budding with curiosity! This stage is so much fun, as babies begin testing their independence and trying to figure things out on their own.

Parker is still the best big brother around! He was so sweet with his little brother. That is another aspect of family sessions that I absolutely love – capturing the family bond. In this case, the brotherly bond these two boys share. I love that their love for each other translates in the images.

Their outdoor fall family session was blessed with lovely weather and perfect light. The autumn sun had a beautiful, warm glow. I also loved taking advantage of the gorgeous fall foliage, which always makes for a stunning backdrop. I had the best time capturing this sweet family of four! I can’t wait to capture their next session!
