I’m so excited to share Hannah and Hopson’s Florentine Building wedding in downtown Birmingham as today is their one month anniversary! CONGRATULATIONS!! Their wedding was nothing short of amazing! I loved every moment of their big day. Â
To start Hannah and Hopson’s big day, the bridal party got ready at the classic Tutwiler hotel in downtown Birmingham. I love capturing all the details and behind the scene moments of a wedding. Watching a bride get ready for her wedding day will never get old. Hannah was an absolutely stunning bride!  The Tutwiler made the perfect backdrop for so many detail shots, specifically the shots of Hannah’s gown! I loved combining her gorgeous gown with the stunning architecture of the historic Tutwiler!Â
I love how they incorporated unique details like the Ole Miss handkerchief, which was Hannah’s grandfather’s who has passed away. This was such a sweet tribute to her late grandfather.  As I mentioned in their engagement blog post, Hannah’s engagement ring is made up of family diamonds taken from Hopson’s mom’s engagement ring! It is stunning! I love when there are stories behind details like this, and how special is it that Hannah now has a Nance family heirloom! So sweet!Â
Another sweet and memorable moment was the first look with Hannah’s sweet dogs. Bailey, or Mr. B, as Hannah calls him, was the first man in her life, so she said he deserved his own first look before Hopson. I loved it! Â
We captured their first look portraits in the courtyard of the Tutwiler hotel and then traveled across the street to Linn Park to grab a few more of them as well as their bridal party. They had such great weather that complimented their beautiful venues perfectly!
Hannah and Hopson’s wedding ceremony took place at Mountain Brook Community Church and their reception was at the Florentine Building. Every detail of Hannah and Hopson’s wedding was unbelievably gorgeous. The light colors and elegant details came together to create a classic, timeless wedding.Â
Hannah and Hopson are a happy, fun-loving couple, so naturally, their wedding was a blast! Since their wedding took place right after Cinco De Mayo, they had tacos, margaritas, and churros! You can never go wrong with that combo!  Â
Throughout their entire wedding day, their love for each other was evident as they stole glances at each other and shared intimate moments together. When I captured their Downtown Birmingham engagement session, I remember thinking how in love and perfect for each other they were. Thank you, Hannah and Hopson, for allowing me to capture your love story and your beautiful wedding day. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!!
