Downtown Birmingham Alabama Engagement Session | Hannah & Hopson

I had an amazing time photographing Hannah & Hopson’s Downtown Birmingham Alabama Engagement Session!  This couple is so sweet and amazing together. We had a lovely time visiting some elegant city locations in Downtown Birmingham. I already knew Hopson from college, as he was in the same fraternity as my husband. He was also the fraternity ‘little brother’ of our good friend Patrick. 

It was great to see him again and get to know Hannah better. They told me how much they enjoy spending time together and engaging in any activity involving their fur babies!  Hannah & Hopson are a very classic couple and were so at ease with each other throughout our day together. You could see in their eyes and how they looked at each other, how much they love each other.  Hannah’s engagement ring is absolutely beautiful! They told me that the ring was made up of family diamonds! I just love it when there is a backstory or history to the ring! 

Downtown Birmingham Engagement Session  

For Hannah & Hopson’s Engagement Session we first went to Southside Baptist, as they both love elegant architectural settings. Our next location was dreamy and romantic, with green vines growing over the stairs and encasing the railing, which complemented Hannah’s floral dress wonderfully. It was an idyllic location for engagement photos! 

We traveled to another area of downtown Birmingham that features stunning historic buildings and grand architecture. We ended Hannah & Hopson’s Downtown Birmingham Engagement Session on a rooftop of a building downtown. I loved seeing the skyline behind them in the images. 

I loved learning about Hannah & Hopson’s love story and capturing this special moment in their lives. Their wedding, which will be held in early May, will start the next chapter in their love story!  Their reception will be at the stunning and historic Florentine building right here in downtown Birmingham!  I can’t wait to see this beautiful couple in a few short weeks on their big day!
