Scenic Engagement Session

I recently had the joy of capturing Jennifer and Jay’s scenic engagement session at the Shoal Creek Golf and Country Club near Birmingham. The lovely couple looked amazing in their classic and sophisticated outfits. At the beginning of their session, Jay wore a suit with a red tie while Jennifer wore a gorgeous champagne colored dress. For their second look, Jay changed to a blue suit and Jennifer put on a beautiful, long blue floral dress. Their outfits were the perfect complement to the natural scenery of the golf course.

When it came to choosing the location of their engagement session, it was an easy decision, as the couple already had this picturesque spot in mind. Jay, a golf enthusiast, is a member of the club, and knew it was the perfect location to capture their timeless engagement. The grounds of the Shoal Creek Golf and Country Club were the perfect backdrop for the timeless look the couple wanted for their photos. The lush greenery, rolling hills, and charming architecture of the country club provided an idyllic setting for their photos.

Jay and Jennifer’s chemistry was undeniable during the entire shoot. They have such a sweet and loving connection that was apparent in every photo captured. These two are truly meant to be together. The couple initially met through a small group that they both attended. Through that group they were able to connect and get to know each other better. It was wonderful to see how that connection has blossomed into a beautiful and loving relationship.

Jay surprised Jennifer with a surprise trip to her favorite city-Charleston, which is also one of my favorite cities! The night before they left for Charleston, Jay concealed his plans and told Jennifer to pack but wouldn’t tell her where they were going! Jennifer had her suspicions though! Upon arrival, they took a walk to Battery Park where Jay proposed! I love their proposal story and I love even more that it happened in Charleston!
