I adore capturing those sweet and tender moments when a family brings home a newborn! Recently, I captured the adorable newborn baby girl, Isla during her Birmingham in-home newborn session. Baby Isla’s mom, Lauren, is also a photographer, so it was an honor to be chosen to capture this season of life for her beautiful family, as they transition from a family of four to a family of five! When a fellow photographer asks you to take their personal pictures, it is always the biggest compliment!
Baby Isla was surrounded by her loving parents and two amazing big sisters, who were all eager to hug, hold, and kiss her during their family portraits! These two little girls are the most doting and loving big sisters! I am positive that these three will grow up to be the best of friends!
Birmingham In-Home Newborn Session
I love in-home lifestyle sessions, especially when there is a newborn involved! I know bringing home a new baby changes everything, whether it is your first or your fifth! Offering in-home sessions allows me to take a little bit of that stress off a family’s plate and document these wonderful memories in the comfort of their own home!
Their house had an abundance of gorgeous, natural light! In case you didn’t know, that’s every photographer’s dream! Lauren has amazing taste! Everything was beautiful, including the lovely nursery! Sweet Isla was a perfect angel the entire session! She was wide awake for most of the session, but was perfectly content being swaddled and held by her family. I had the best time meeting and working with this wonderful family! Enjoy my favorites from their dreamy in-home newborn session!
