Birmingham Botanical Gardens Engagement Session | Amanda & Dan
Amanda & Dan are such a sweet couple that I had the great joy of photographing for their engagement photos. Their Birmingham Botanical Gardens Engagement portraits were perfect in every way! The Botanical Gardens is one of my favorite locations to photograph couples and engagement sessions! The flowers sprinkled throughout the background of every photo create a such romantic experience and truly stunning images!
Birmingham Botanical Gardens Engagement Portraits
Not only does the Birmingham Botanical Gardens feature breathtaking scenery ideal for any session, but it has plenty of variety too! There are acres of gardens to explore with a range of flowers in every hue you can imagine! The grounds of the venue also boast amazing architecture that beautifully complements the classic and dreamy vibe the gardens create. I love the contrast of the white pillars next to the black, wrought iron railings of the balcony that overlooks the lush green landscape!
Amanda and Dan are plant enthusiasts who have a lot of plant life in their home! Naturally, the Birmingham Botanical Gardens was an ideal place to capture them as they celebrated their engagement. It was so much fun to talk to them about all the various plants they have, as well as those we came across in the greenhouse and the rose garden! We lingered a little longer in the greenhouse as Amanda LOVES succulents! I don’t blame her either! They are beautiful!
Outside the greenhouse, a few smaller trees lined the walkway with their branches intertwining overhead. It created the perfect arched frame! The white gated entrance to the rose garden opens up to a brick walkway lined with roses, where I captured a few more of my favorite photos of this happy couple.
I had so much fun getting to know Amanda and Dan, and I can’t wait for them to get married this October! I know their fall wedding will be absolutely gorgeous!! Until then, enjoy some of my favorite images from their Birmingham Botanical Gardens engagement portraits!!
