Morgan and Mike are getting married later this year at the Barn at Smith Lake, and I. CAN’T. WAIT!! We met up for their engagement session, and I was so excited because we were also joined by their sweet doodle, Oliver! I’m a sucker for dogs anyways, but especially doodles since I have two of my own, so we had a blast getting Oliver to pose with his mom and dad for some pictures! Morgan and Mike met in high school, and their first date was going to the movies to see Night at the Museum. They know each other so well, and it was so clear even from our first meeting at Starbucks! We bonded over the fact that they love Saigon Noodle House, and that’s David’s favorite restaurant as well. In fact, some of the sweet ladies at Saigon actually sent Morgan and Mike my way, as did the sister of one of my past brides- I’m so glad they did!
When I asked Mike what three words described Morgan and his favorite thing about her, he said that she is genuine, caring and compassionate, and his favorite thing about Morgan is that the way Morgan smiles makes him want to smile. When I asked Morgan the same questions, she said that he is honest, thoughtful and caring, and she loves how Mike can always make her laugh and smile and that there is never a dull moment when they are together. These traits were so evident throughout their engagement session, and there were lots of smiles and laughs, so I know their wedding day in November is going to be a blast!! 🙂
