Sarah and Cain | A Summer Garden and Downtown Birmingham Engagement Session

I had such a blast with Sarah and Cain at their engagement session! When I sat down with Sarah at our initial consultation, we immediately hit it off, and I knew we were going to be a great fit! After hearing Sarah and Cain’s story and seeing how genuine and kind-hearted she is, I was so excited to meet Cain and to see them together as a couple! It was so fun getting to know the two of them together, and they are so great together. The way Cain and Sarah looked at each other, giggled with each other, and just had fun with each other throughout their session showed me just how in love they really are and how perfect they are for each other!

We met first at Birmingham Botanical Gardens to start off the session. We were so blessed with a gorgeous, sunny day with not too high of temperatures! This Alabama summer heat can get a little crazy, so we were so thankful for a nice breeze that decided to come our way every now and then! I was absolutely obsessed with their outfits, because they just looked so great together! We spent some time in the rose garden, then headed over to the greenhouse because Sarah is a big fan of succulents and the cactus plants reminded her of those! After spending some time in the greenhouse, we decided to wrap up our time at the Botanical Gardens and finish out our session at Railroad Park in downtown Birmingham. The tall grassy area at Railroad Park is one of my favorite spots to shoot at, particularly during golden hour right before sunset when the light is fading but still so glowy and golden! Sarah and Cain’s second outfits were just as gorgeous as the first, and they fit the location perfectly!
