I am over the moon excited to share sweet little Hudson’s newborn photos! Their intimate at-home newborn + family session in their warm Birmingham home was perfect in every way. It wasn’t that long ago that I was capturing this former family of three for their maternity session! Now, just a few months later, I am here capturing this new family of four! 

In the short time I was with the Anderson family, it was clear that Hudson’s big brother took his new role very seriously! He was such a loving and doting big brother. Seeing the two brothers interact was very special to witness and document. He took great care to hold and cuddle Hudson for their photos, and even snuck in a few kisses! So sweet!

Intimate at-home Newborn + Family Session

One of the perks of an in-home newborn session is the opportunity to document the nursery! After taking comfy photos on the bed, we headed to Hudson’s nursery. The cutest portraits of baby wild animals adorned the walls above his crib. A large stuffed giraffe decorated the room, which we had to include in the photos! The images of dad holding Hudson on the back of the giraffe are so sweet! 

Hudson is such an adorable little guy, and is already such a fighter! Can you believe in the short time since he has been born, he has already had a successful heart surgery? Both Hudson and his family have been through a lot. Thankfully, Hudson is doing great! After facing such hard and scary times, it brought me great joy to capture these sweet moments of this precious family. It was truly an honor to photograph and celebrate along with them Hudson’s birth and surgery recovery!
