If you know me, you know I love Spanish moss—like, a lot. So when Morgan told me she was open to locations around Montgomery for their engagement session, I instantly suggested Jackson Lake Island. It’s a hidden gem I don’t get to visit nearly enough, and it’s always a treat when I do. The quiet charm of the island, with its moss-draped trees and peaceful scenery, made the perfect romantic backdrop for this sweet couple. Here’s a look at their Montgomery Alabama engagement session:
After exploring Jackson Lake Island, we headed to the Montgomery State Capitol for a completely different vibe—more formal and elegant, but just as gorgeous. The architecture is always stunning, but the real showstopper this time? The spring flowers! They were in full bloom and added so much color and life to the session. It felt like we were in a garden straight out of a storybook.
Morgan and Easton are such a kind and down-to-earth couple. They were so relaxed in front of the camera and truly just enjoyed each other’s company—something that always shines through in the photos. I’m already counting down the days until their wedding next year. If their engagement session is any indication, it’s going to be an incredibly beautiful and heartfelt day.
From playful water’s-edge portraits to quiet, romantic moments on the Capitol steps, this session was a dream. Keep scrolling to see some of my favorite images from Morgan and Easton’s Montgomery engagement session!
