Caroline & Wesley’s Engagement Session at the Alabama State Capitol

Caroline and Wesley’s engagement session was such a dream—full of timeless charm, gorgeous light, and the sweetest couple! We met in Montgomery, Alabama, and had the best time exploring the Alabama State Capitol Building together. This was actually my first time shooting there, and now I’m officially hooked! From the moment they arrived, I couldn’t get over Caroline’s style—she has the most effortlessly elegant taste. Their outfits were the perfect blend of classic and polished, and they photographed beautifully against the Capitol’s clean lines and soft natural light. I always encourage my couples to wear something that feels like them, and these two nailed it.

We wandered the grounds finding little nooks and picturesque spots around every corner. Caroline and Wesley were so natural in front of the camera—laughing, holding hands, and just soaking in this sweet season of engagement. I love when sessions feel more like a relaxed walk than a photoshoot, and theirs definitely did.

It was such a joy capturing this milestone for them, and I truly can’t wait for their wedding this coming February! If their engagement session was any indication, it’s going to be a day filled with love, elegance, and so many beautiful moments.
