Welcoming a baby into the world is such an exciting time in life! I love capturing those moments leading up to the baby’s arrival! Maternity sessions are so sweet and special! There is something about capturing the warm glow of an expectant mother and the overwhelming excitement and anticipation from both mom and dad. This beautiful couple, Emily and Jake were radiant and beaming with joy! I captured their Summer Garden Maternity Session at Birmingham Botanical Gardens in Mountain Brook, Alabama!

Emily and Jake are expecting their first baby together! I was so excited for them and honored to be there to capture these fleeting moments for them! I was even more honored that the couple drove all the way from Tuscaloosa for our session together!

We had so much fun exploring the botanical gardens together for their summer garden maternity session! The gardens were full of stunning blooms at every turn. We found a few different trees and shrubs displaying beautiful pink and white blossoms, which painted the perfect backdrop for their photos! The Birmingham Botanical Gardens never disappoints! Beautiful scenery can be found during every season!
