Downtown Birmingham Engagement Session | Emily and Nick
I’m so excited to share and celebrate Emily and Nick’s Downtown Birmingham engagement session with you! Emily and Nick are such a sweet couple. I had a wonderful time capturing these two love birds at Railroad Park for their Downtown Birmingham engagement session. It was a gorgeous fall day with incredible weather! I love shooting at Railroad Park as there are so many locations to choose from as backdrops. The golden leaves behind them on the bridge created an idyllic backdrop and the fields of tall grass provided such a romantic setting!!
I enjoyed learning more about Emily and Nick during our Downtown Birmingham engagement session. You could feel the love between them during the entire session as they laughed and smiled at each other. These two devote much of their time to serving others as Emily is a teacher and Nick serves in the Marines. Needless to say, Emily and Nick are extremely selfless individuals who pour their hearts into their work and each other.
Downtown Birmingham Engagement Session
Emily and Nick met at church in high school, but were never close. They told me that fate reconnected them in 2016 when they were both in a wedding together. The rest, as they say, is history! They’ve been inseparable ever since! Nick proposed to Emily on a cruise with her family while their cruise ship was docked in the Bahamas!
When asked what they loved most about each other, Emily responded that her favorite detail about Nick is “how much he cares about the people that are important to him. He will do anything and everything he can for his family or for me and my family.” Nick responded that his favorite thing about Emily is “her willingness to be completely vulnerable with me.”
They both shared with me that they love to travel and explore new places together. I have no doubt that Emily and Nick will share many adventures together in their future. I can’t wait to capture the beginning of their next adventure as husband and wife. Congratulations to you both!
