Every love story that I photograph is unique, and the journey that leads two people to say “I do” is often filled with beautiful moments and even a few surprises! Today, I am thrilled to share the sweet romance and wedding day of Emily and Sean. From the day they met until their exciting proposal, and now planning a future together, every piece has been unique.
Many love stories often begin with a fateful encounter, and for Emily and Sean, it was no different. Their journey began with a serendipitous meeting on Hinge that set the stage for their life together. They felt an instant connection, and their conversation just flowed naturally, and led to them meeting in person. When they decided that the time was right to take the next step, Sean surprised Emily with a special date to the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. They walked around the beautiful gardens, and a sweet stranger took a photo for them. As she was taking the photo, Sean got down on one knee, and proposed! Ever since, they have enjoyed their favorite hobbies together, and have created many more memories. One of their favorite things to do together is dining out, and their favorite restaurant is Helen in Birmingham, an upscale and delicious date night spot (and also one of my favorite spots!).
When it came to their wedding day, this beautiful couple had some lovely ideas and inspiration, including a private first look, and the bride wearing her mom’s veil. I loved incorporating these sweet moments into their day, and making sure that their images reflected their strong values and love story. The bride’s first look with her dad, as well as their bride/groom first look were particularly poignant, and I admit, I shed a tear or two myself. Those daddy/daughter moments get me every time! All of the decor and colors worked beautifully together in a soft, cohesive palette, and I enjoyed taking and arranging every single frame. Their wedding party was precious and wonderful to work with, and it was clear that everyone around them gave them unconditional love and support in this milestone.
I wish these two wonderful people the very best in the next chapter of their future!
