I am in love with my recent Birmingham Summer Engagement Session featuring Mallory and Nathan! We had the most wonderful time getting to know each other during our gorgeous outdoor session. Nathan, who has a great sense of humor and was cracking jokes throughout our session, was a former baseball player. He now serves as a local police officer. Mallory is a nurse at a children’s hospital.
These two definitely have servant hearts! We had to incorporate a little nod to their careers, both past and present, by photographing her holding her stethoscope and him holding a baseball, while handcuffed to each other. I love incorporating these unique details that tell a story special to the couple. These two have worked so hard in their careers and have supported each other along the way. Their furbaby, Rusty, joined in the session as well. He was very well behaved!
We couldn’t have asked for better lighting as we explored a lovely park area of Birmingham, AL. The sunlight created a romantic glow as I captured them walking in the field, sitting in the tall grass, and even cozying up wrapped in a blanket!
These two college sweethearts met at a sand volleyball court on campus and the rest is history! Mallory and Nathan are active and enjoy a wide range of activities together including hunting, fishing, hiking, traveling, and many outdoor activities. They don’t mind as long as they are together. Mallory and Nathan will be saying “I do” this November at Swann Lake Stables in Birmingham, AL. I can’t wait for their wedding day, but until then enjoy a few memories from their Birmingham Summer Engagement Session!
