Jenni and Caleb’s Clubhouse on Highland Wedding in Birmingham, AL was amazing! It is one of the most stunning venues! They were originally scheduled to be married at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church. However, due to covid they had to change venues to the lovely Clubhouse on Highland. They were married in May of 2020 in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their immediate family. While their wedding day may not have been what they originally imagined, it turned out perfectly! The Clubhouse on Highland is a historic location that offers both romantic charm and character!

Clubhouse on Highland Wedding Ceremony

Jenni was a breathtaking bride! I loved the white fur shawl she wore around her shoulders for part of the day! It provided an elegant, classic feel to her already gorgeous dress. Caleb and his groomsmen wore navy suits. Jenni’s bridesmaids wore lighter blue dresses with beautiful bouquets of white, red and dusty pink flowers.

Jenni and Caleb exchanged letters before the wedding ceremony. I love capturing the genuine emotion and reactions of couples reading words from their future spouse. The only thing better is capturing the first look reaction. I will never grow tired of watching couples’ faces light up with joy, just as theirs did seeing each other for the first time!

Jenni’s father walked Jenni down the staircase to meet Caleb and the rest of the family for the ceremony. The staircase was decorated with classic white flowers. It served as the perfect focal point for the ceremony. After the ceremony, everyone cheered and clapped as they kissed in front of the clubhouse! I made sure to capture several portraits of the newlyweds outside on the grounds of the Clubhouse on Highland.

Wedding Celebration

The newlyweds celebrated with their family afterwards over dinner. Their wedding cake matched her flower bouquets as it was also decorated with red and dusty pink flowers around each tier.

Even though Caleb and Jenni couldn’t have a wedding reception with all their friends and family at this time, they didn’t let that stop them! They rang in the new year and celebrated their marriage with friends and family on New Year’s Eve 2020 at BridgeStreet Gallery and Loft in Birmingham, AL! I’m sure they had the best time, as it was well deserved!

These two decided to not let Covid stop them! They made the best of the situation and didn’t let it hinder their plans. They moved forward with their lives … together, just as they planned. They took everything in stride and focused on the most important thing, which was their future together. I am so thankful I was able to be a part of this magical day! Thank you both for allowing me to capture your wedding day! Congratulations, Caleb and Jenni!! I’m so incredibly happy for you both!!
