I’m overjoyed that I can finally say Sara Beth & John are married! Their joyous wedding was originally planned for the end of May in 2020, but like many couples, they had to postpone their wedding due to COVID-19. Their rescheduled wedding took place on a gorgeous fall day in October at Riverchase Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama. This location was so special to them as John grew up working there in the summers! Sara Beth & John worked so hard to make the best of the situation and have their dream wedding they envisioned from the beginning with their family and friends.

It was such a treat to photograph Sara Beth getting ready with her bridesmaids and capturing those precious moments with her mom as she helped with her wedding dress. The room they got ready in was absolutely gorgeous with the large windows that let in so much natural light!! The beautiful bride & bridesmaids looked stunning in their matching robes. Sara Beth was beaming with joy all day and was an absolutely stunning bride. Also, her dress had pockets, which I am STILL obsessed with! The bridesmaids’ dreamy, light blue dresses were elegant and complemented the subtle hues of color in the bouquets and the wooden arch draped in flowers.

Sara Beth & John shared many loving glances and intimate moments throughout their special day. I loved that they included Layla in their first look photos as well since she is so important to them and made an appearance at their engagement session!! They were so overjoyed to finally be celebrating the day they had planned and dreamed about for so long. It was well worth the wait, because everything was perfect. My favorite moment of the day was watching them walk back down the aisle to “You are my Sunshine.” It was a sweet and memorable moment, and also very fitting as John’s nickname is Sunshine.
