I had the pleasure of meeting precious Anna Claire a few weeks ago on her one month birthday for her lifestyle newborn session, and y’all, she’s just as cute as can be!! Lauren and Dylan are such naturals as parents already- Anna Claire is such a lucky little girl! Lauren has impeccable taste, and she designed such a beautiful nursery for Anna Claire. Really, their whole home is just stunning. Lauren, can you come decorate my house?! Haha- kidding but not really 😂. Back to the nursery. Anna Claire’s room is so soft, feminine, and classic. It truly looked straight out of a magazine. The blush pink and white tones looked absolutely gorgeous.

When I got to their house, Lauren told me that Anna Claire had just eaten, so she should be getting sleepy. However, Anna Claire had a different idea about that than we did. Sweet girl gave us several yawns, but never fully went to sleep. She was so happy and pleasant the entire time though, which is definitely not always the case with newborns! (I recently went through the newborn phase with Hallie Kate, so I can 100% relate. 😂) She was so curious as to what I was doing and gave me such great facial expressions.

I love anytime I get to capture a lifestyle newborn session because I get to focus on the new relationships that are being formed between the parents and the baby in the clients’ home where they are most comfortable. Lauren and Dylan are now taking on new roles as mom and dad. What an honor and a privilege those titles are! It is so clear in the way they look at Anna Claire just how smitten they are with her. Babies have such a beautiful and pure love and admiration for their parents, and it’s one of my favorite things to capture. There’s absolutely nothing like the way a baby looks at their mama or daddy. Congratulations to Lauren and Dylan on their beautiful baby girl, and Anna Claire- welcome to the world sweet girl!
