Brooke and Blake | A Birmingham, Alabama Engagement Session at Railroad Park

Brooke and Blake’s engagement session in downtown Birmingham was such a fun day of getting to know these two! I can’t believe their wedding is this coming Sunday! The time has truly flown by. This week, I have been so amazed by Brooke’s sense of calm and peace with all the changes going on in our world right now. What was originally planned as a “typical” full wedding day is now going to be an elopement with the two of them and their immediate family. Through all of the chaos, Brooke has remained so calm and peaceful and just kept saying, “I’m just so ready to marry Blake.” It’s so incredible to see my sweet couples focusing on the important things. Yes, large weddings are beautiful and so special and meaningful to get to share with all of your friends and family, but there is something to be said for when things aren’t going the way you planned, and at the end of the day, you know the most important thing is being married to your best friend and starting your life together. So Brooke and Blake, I am honored that I still get to be there to celebrate with you guys on Sunday, and it’s going to be such an incredible day!! 🙂
