Wedding at The Club in Birmingham | Haley & William
I’m so excited to share the love story of Haley and William and their stunning wedding day at Meadow Brook Baptist Church and The Club in Birmingham, Alabama. I had the pleasure of getting to know Haley when she was a bridesmaid in a couple of her friends’ weddings that I photographed. Our paths first crossed in college when we were in the same sorority, but it wasn’t until those weddings that we really connected. Celebrating these two was such a joy!
How They Met
Haley and William’s journey began back in 2016 at Auburn University. Haley was about to start pharmacy school, while William, a Duke graduate, came to Auburn to pursue his master’s degree. They started dating but decided to part ways after a few months because of the uncertainty about where life would take them. William ended up moving to Huntsville for his job, while Haley stayed in Auburn. Fast forward to May 2021, and fate brought them back together when William reached out while he was in Birmingham helping his mom take care of his dad after surgery. They reconnected, started talking more over the next few months, and by November, they were back together!
The Proposal
William planned a romantic proposal that Haley will never forget. During a trip to Charleston, they stayed at The Spectator Hotel and enjoyed dining at many fantastic restaurants. On the second to last day of their trip, William took Haley to Sullivan’s Island for lunch at Sullivan’s Fish Camp. Afterward, he surprised her with a chartered catamaran ride on the “Everything Zen.” The boat ride, driven by a husband-and-wife team, was filled with fun, a charcuterie board, and champagne. As they sailed past Charleston Harbor and Rainbow Row, the captain’s wife offered to take some photos for their Instagram. It was then that William got down on one knee and asked Haley to marry him!
Their Wedding at The Club in Birmingham
Haley and William’s wedding day was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony took place at Meadow Brook Baptist Church, where Haley looked absolutely radiant in her gown, and William couldn’t take his eyes off her as she walked down the aisle.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at The Club in Birmingham. The reception was filled with floral decor, stunning views, and an atmosphere of pure joy. The guests enjoyed delicious food, danced the night away, and celebrated the newlyweds.
It was an honor to be a part of Haley and William’s special day and to capture the beautiful moments that they will cherish forever. Congratulations, Haley and William!
