Anna and Hamilton’s Wedding at Flagstone Farm
Anna and Hamilton’s wedding brought the happiest mix of color to the green fields surrounding Flagstone Farm. Her bouquet was filled with vibrant coral peonies and soft blue flowers, with touches of yellow woven throughout. The colors felt especially beautiful against the water and open Alabama countryside. Paired with sky-blue dresses for the bridesmaids and deep navy suits for the men, every part of the day felt bright and unmistakably summery.
The morning began in the cottage at Flagstone Farm, where Anna got ready alongside her bridesmaids and family. The girls wore matching blue-and-white striped pajamas with the cutest smiley-face slippers, which set such a cheerful tone for the morning. Anna’s mom and the women closest to her were nearby as she finished getting ready, and those photographs already feel like a lovely record of the people who shared those last few hours with her before the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Hamilton and his groomsmen prepared in the loft above the barn. Their navy suits were finished with pale blue bow ties and colorful boutonnieres that connected beautifully with the flowers carried by Anna and her bridesmaids. Hamilton also wore the watch Anna had given him the day before their wedding. Including it with their rings and vow books made their detail photographs feel far more personal to them.

Before heading to the ceremony, we photographed Anna with her bridesmaids beside the lake at Flagstone Farm. Anna and Hamilton chose to skip a first look and wait until the ceremony to see each other. With approximately 200 guests gathered beneath the open-air chapel at Flagstone Farm, they exchanged vows in a ceremony that kept the focus right where they wanted it: on the commitment they were making to one another. Waiting until the aisle also meant their portraits together happened afterward, once they had officially become husband and wife.
Bride and groom portraits were especially important to Anna, so we made them a priority after the ceremony. Flagstone Farm offered plenty of space for those photographs, with its lake, rolling hills, and open fields providing a beautiful backdrop without pulling attention away from the two of them. Their wedding party portraits carried the same colorful, joyful feeling as the rest of the day, especially with those vivid flowers against all the shades of blue.
The celebration continued inside the barn at Flagstone Farm, where guests gathered for dinner and the reception. At the end of the evening, Anna and Hamilton left through a sparkler send-off before climbing into a vintage-style getaway car. It was such a fitting ending for a day that balanced classic wedding traditions with color and personality.
